All of us in northeast Indiana have been stuck inside for 4 days. It’s been as cold as a wind chill of -50 degrees this week. It seems as though everyone thought it was fun for a day or two....now it’s day four and we’re ready to break loose! Today it occurred to me, this is Olivia’s life. She is stuck at home, away from people at malls, restaurants, and school in order to protect her compromised immune system. If you have seen her out or saw a Facebook post of her out, that’s because we either begged the doctors for their blessing or we decided to take every precaution and let her out in order to keep her sanity! Olivia has really enjoyed all of the school cancelations so she has company all day long...even if it is her siblings!

Today when searching for books that Preston can read to her, Olivia came across this treasure from a month after her birth! The Knox’s have been a blessing to Olivia and our family for years! This is just a reminder of the village it has taken for Olivia to get where she is now! We can’t thank all of you enough for your prayers, monetary donations, gifts, love and encouraging words over our family’s nearly 3 year journey!

It’s Olivia’s 15th Birthday today! To celebrate we are releasing the Liv it Up Application! Go to the “application” tab on this website to see requirements! Olivia can’t wait to start giving back to other childhood cancer patients since she was so blessed by all of you!

We made it through the holidays, together as a family and will no illnesses! It was a wonderful couple of weeks with the two younger kids home on break from school! On January 4th Olivia has her last chemo at Riley Hospital! This Friday she will go for a check up and then begin going just ONCE A MONTH for check ups!!!!! In the New Year, we look back on all Olivia has been through and can’t be more thankful for the prayers from all of you and for her amazing strength! She still has several more months of isolation, but now that we have Olivia’s health under control we are excited to announce where we are headed with Liv It Up! Olivia is so excited to start giving back after receiving so many blessings from all of you! We’ll make the big announcement later this week!
