Olivia’s made it through the first quarter of her sophomore year and everything’s been pretty normal with a few appointments at Riley once a month! Olivia received all A’s so far and is especially enjoying her time in a ceramics class at school! She keeps busy with philanthropy groups in our community along with 4-H and youth group at church. Her first opportunity to attend the school semi formal is coming up in December! Olivia’s good friend Izaiah surprised her Monday night by asking her to the dance! Tomorrow is scan day at Riley Hospital so since we’ll be in Indy, we hope to end the day by finding the perfect dress for the dance!
We feel confident that the scans will show that Olivia continues to be cancer free and can continue her “normal” life for 3 more months until the next scan. Many say the scanxiety won’t go away no matter how long you are cancer free. Olivia seems to be the calm one, it’s mom that has the scanxiety! Please pray for clear scans tomorrow! The CT scan is scheduled for 11am. Please also pray for our friend Conlei Walworth and her family. She had scans this week and should be finding out the results tomorrow!
